We continued our discussions from yesterday. 4. Assured victory and provision: Gen. 1:26 made us understand that God first made man in his image and likeness to have dominion over creations. So you must first exhibit, manifest or dwell in the nature of God, in order to have dominion in life. The nature of God is righteousness and true holiness. It is thus pertinent that every movement of a child of God is to sustain his manifestations of the nature of God. This nature ensures and sustains dominion over all events of life including the powers of Satan, wickedness and evil. Such an attained child of God does not live in fear. He lives with the mindset of assured victory and provisions. Something more than assurance, but actually a life style. He locates his life and livings in the volume of the scriptures. When the scriptures says, "That all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose"(Rom. 8:28). He walks in the consciousness that he cannot be defeated or disadvantaged. Every situation must come out to his favour. For in all those things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us". The attained child of God knows and understand that his future is already a history of success, breakthrough, adequate provision, victory and greatness before God. His responsibility is to remain in Christ, others are assured victory, because in Christ is our calling, existence and living, both on earth and in eternity. 2Cor. 5:17 declares, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new". If a child of God must worry, it is only on how to be in Christ. It is a situation and location, that once you arrive, you need to maintain your status by strict adherence to the standards, laws and commandments of the kingdom of God. That is why Jesus is constantly admonishing, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light". The child of God should continuously learn from Christ, until he becomes like him on earth".
