DAILY WORDS OF WISDOM - 16th September 2020 A daily Bible exposition by Pst (Dr.) Isidore Ojukwu Nwankwo, PhD Wisdom and Revelation International Evangelical Ministry (WRIEM) Topic: Repairing the broken walls of life Theme scriptures:"And they shall build the Old wastes, they shall rise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations"(Isaiah 64:4). As an entity, the whole creation has been breached. It has been taken away from its divinely ordained path and purpose. Satan did this by introducing sin, corruption and death. These three sequential deployments of the enemy, has held creation bondage and in pains. Rom. 8:21 says, "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God". Now the plan and derailment of creation was a pointal attack on the prime creature of God, man. As a race, man lost his destiny and destination in creation. Man was created to enjoy eternity in fellowship with God in the flesh. However, sin came and breached this divine destination of man. Man became a broken race, plagued with sickness, diseases, bondage, etc. The human race then become a broken and fallen family, with sure path to eternal damnation. Christ then appeared on the scene with the salvation and redemption of mankind. Jesus came with the sole responsibility of salvaging and rescuing creation, that have been derailed and breached by Satan, through sin. When this is broken down to the lives of man on earth, it works to bring Salvation, healing, restoration, freedom, prosperity, etc to the broken and fallen man. Thus, Jesus clearly captures the purpose of his coming as, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:18-19). Prayers : I pray for all Christians that they shall understand and be conscious of the realities in creation.
